You can even colour code your audio and notes to make them easier to look back on at a later date. I use this software to record my lectures as I find it hard to keep up with note taking. Dragon isn’t just useful for word processing, you can use it for many more tasks- even searching the internet! ![]() The software has saved me so much strain and time when it comes to submitting essays (I have Cerebral Palsy). This allows Dragon to pick up on your individual inflections and nuances which leads to greater accuracy. Each person who uses the software has to create a personal profile. Make sure the button in the middle of the bar is green, this means the software will pick up your dictations. The software is very simple to use, all you need is a microphone. I like this about the software as it doesn’t take up too much space. ![]() The interface is a small bar that appears along the top of your laptop screen. I don’t have any screenshots to show you but there are many demonstration videos out there if you want to learn more.ĭragon is voice recognition software that I use for writing essays. This post may be helpful if any of you out there have been offered these pieces of software but don’t really know what they entail. This post may be slightly niche, but I thought that I’d share my experiences of Dragon and Sonocent Audio Notetaker, two pieces of software that Disabled Student Allowance provided me with. ![]()
